The Holsworthy Carnival

Holsworthy Carnival is now over for 2025, although there is still a lot going on behind the scenes to wrap everything up. I would like to personally thank everyone who took part—whether on a float, helping with bucket collections, or coming out to support us. It was a fantastic event, with 50 floats in attendance and an impressively high standard throughout.

Events like this are only possible thanks to the many volunteers who help bring everything together, along with the Town Council, who have been instrumental this year in supporting the setup. A huge thank you to all of them.

It was also great to have our emergency services in attendance. They have once again been incredible in helping to keep everyone safe, and we are very grateful for their support.

As we look ahead to 2026, the planning process will begin again in a couple of months. One of our biggest challenges is securing enough funding to make the event possible. If you are able to, please consider making a small donation at the link below. Any amount would be greatly appreciated and will help us put on next year’s carnival for you all.

A huge thank you to everyone for all that has been done and for the support you have given.

Holsworthy Carnival Committee are inviting applications for this year's Carnival Royalty.

To be eligible for Carnival King/Queen or Carnival Prince/Princess

Applicants must:

Attend a local school
Aged between 4-17
Be available to visit local carnivals
Be able to tow a trailer with your own vehicle

£250 will be given to the King/Queen and Prince/Princess to help with float decorations and costumes
Applications to be submitted by 1st September

Carnival night will take place Saturday 15th November 2025

Half Page - £60 (landscape)
Full page -£120 (portrait)


If you would like to include something a little more tailored to your company we can offer a double page feature about your business and how you shine! We can also include you as a sponsor on the back cover of the programme (in colour).

Sponsorship has proven to be very effective and a great opportunity to tell everyone about your company and how you support the community. If you think this is something that would be of interest, we are asking for donations of £250 for this exposure.
