A glimmer of what’s to come ..
The garden is flush with new shoots and leaves. Glimmers of what’s to come are ever present.
I’m reminded that last April we came together to create bouquets of seasonal flowers alongside a delve into Bergamot essential oil and its plant origin.
It was a delicious workshop with beautiful souls and equally beautiful flowers. As part of the workshop I gave out a Bergamot seedling and a bottle of Bergamot essential oil both of which will keep on giving in their own unique way.
When used as a herb, Bergamot has natural antiseptic and anti inflammatory properties. Bergamot leaves can be used to make tea and as an additional garnish to salads.
The essential oil is calming, and so helps to alleviate both stress and anxiety.
I love these mind and body connections brought about by plants, flowers and oils. Even breathing in the scent is soothing. When we come together for creative endeavour it further enhances our sense of wellbeing in the most natural and positive way.
I’m back at Brinscall Hall on Sunday 17 May home to for another session exploring seasonal flowers alongside essential oils.
Please let me know if this sounds like something you’d enjoy, and look out for more information coming soon.
