Well… this one certainly got the florists talking! 😂💐
A £20 bouquet has apparently been described as “pathetic” because it wasn’t quite as big as expected… and I think there’s a little lesson for all of us small business owners (and customers) in there. 👀
Because behind every “small” bouquet is a florist buying stock, conditioning flowers, designing, arranging, wrapping, delivering, paying overheads… and probably answering messages at 10pm
A £20 bouquet isn’t supposed to look like a £100 bouquet, and that’s okay! 🌸
Small businesses put a LOT into what might look like a simple purchase. So perhaps before we call something “pathetic”, it’s worth remembering there’s a real person and a whole lot of work behind it 🤍
And honestly… if you want a bigger bouquet, just ask what your budget can get you. We florists are pretty good at making the numbers flower! 😂💐
Support small. Be kind. And remember, bigger isn’t always better. 🌷
