~ SEATING ~
There is so much choice out there when it comes to your reception seating options. And when you go for something like this wooden cross back chair there is definitely no need to cover it up.
~
On this occasion I draped some plain ivory silk over the back of the chair and finished with some greenery and fresh berries. Simple but effective 👍🏻

Creating a style board is one of my favourite things. It’s the perfect opportunity to get your creative juices flowing and start thinking outside the box.

Yes, I love anything and everything wedding related (well almost), but when it comes to designing the event I always begin by searching for things that are non wedding related. Like interiors and travel and generic objects that fit with the mood that the couple are aiming for.

~ A VENUE THAT WOWS ~
No bride ever wants to be upstaged on her wedding day, but when it comes to a like this we can certainly forgive this vast pale stone backdrop for being the main focal point in this image.
~
I had the pleasure of visiting this venue last year where I planned and styled this wedding shoot. Three days of glorious sunshine and three days of collaborating with the amazing Helen Warner. It was a total dream and I’d go back tomorrow and do it all again!

~ FLOWERS IN FRANCE ~
What better way to brighten up your day than a beautiful bouquet. And this one from a shoot I styled last year in the Dordogne does not disappoint!
~
Eucalyptus is my favourite and here it’s teamed with soft pink and cream roses, and finished with this beautiful hand dyed silk ribbon to make the perfect bridal posey.

~ GEOMETRIC & GOLD ~
Who doesn’t love a hint of gold on their tablescape!? Especially when you add in geometric influences and pop it in the middle of a forest 😍
~
Set in this beautiful woodland wedding venue surrounded by huge trees and the birds tweeting, it’s every bride and grooms outdoor wedding dream. With brass candlesticks, and gold trinkets and cutlery, dusky pink silks, and sprigs of greener scattered along the centre of the table, you can’t help but be in tablescape heaven.
~
I love everything about this relaxed but modern style. This carried through to the rest of the day with every element from the florals and the cake and even the signage being carefully thought out to fit the design. If only I could go back and do it all again!

~ STATEMENT FLORALS AND STUNNING DRESSES~

And those dresses......I love that each dress is slightly different giving the bridesmaids their own unique style but staying within the same colour tones. The backless designs of these Maids to Measure dresses show off the perfect amount of skin. And the beautiful designed bridal gown is so elegantly beautiful. Can I get married again so I can go dress shopping!? 😊
