Wedding Venue Your Tips Part 2 🤓
When you arrive at the venue, take your time to soak it all in. Walk through every space you might use on your wedding day. Picture where your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will happen. Here are some key things to focus on:

* Flow and Layout: Is the space easy to navigate? Will guests move comfortably between areas? Try to ask about accessible pathways for your guests that may need special access. Or wider routes for parents with buggies. A good flow keeps the day running smoothly.

* Lighting: Natural light can make a huge difference in photos and atmosphere. Check how the light changes throughout the day. Where will the sun be at the time of your reception/ceremony/golden hour.

* Acoustics: If you plan to have live music or a DJ, ask about sound quality and any noise restrictions.

* Facilities: Look at toilet facilities, dressing rooms, and ask about kitchen access, if you need it. These practical details matter more than you might think.

* Ambiance: Does the venue feel warm and inviting? Can you see your style fitting in here?

Don’t forget to take photos or videos during your visit. They’ll help you compare venues later to remember what stood out and what didn’t. Asking the right questions can reveal important details that aren’t obvious at first glance. Here are some questions to keep handy:

1. Availability: Are your preferred dates open? How far in advance do you need to book?

2. Vendors: Can you bring your own caterer, florist, or photographer? Or do they have preferred vendors?

3. Setup and Cleanup: Who handles setup and cleanup? Are there extra fees?

4. Weather Plans: For outdoor venues, what’s the backup plan if it rains?

5. Accessibility: Is the venue accessible for guests with mobility needs?

6. Noise and Curfew: Are there any noise limits or curfews to keep in mind?

Choosing your perfect venue is one of the most exciting parts of planning your wedding day but it can sometimes feel a little overwhelming. So we thought we’d share some of our Venue tour tips with you. Part 1: Preparation.
Try to make a list beforehand of your priorities, what are your absolute must-haves, and what are the nice-to-haves. Think about the size of your guest list, your wedding style, how many small children will you have at the wedding and do you need entertainment for them?
Are there any special features you are hoping to include in your day, for example do you want an outdoor ceremony spot, a rustic barn, Tipis,
food trucks or a fancy outdoor sit-down meal under the trees.
Don’t be afraid to take a notebook or use your phone to take notes, and don’t hesitate to ask questions, some important ones include:
What’s included in the rental fee?
Are there any restrictions on suppliers?
How many guests can you comfortably hold?
What’s the parking situation?
Is there back up for bad weather?

Gorgeous post wedding party last night, congratulations to the beautiful Holly and Alex who got hitched in Las Vegas 🎰♥️😎a few weeks ago and then had their wedding party with us yesterday. They sure know how to party! Champagne fountains, Elvis impersonator (their grandad) and the most fantastic ten piece band you were phenomenal! Such great vibes, two lovely families. Meet Joti - our new doggy wedding chaperone! We are very dog friendly here at Enchanted Gardens, dogs just love our meadow ♥️ We know that you probably don’t have the time to spend taking care of your dawg on your wedding day, I mean it’s pretty busy right!? That’s where the lovely Joti steps in!

She is a qualified Dog Trainer and offers a bespoke dog wedding chaperone service, which we are really very excited about!

Congratulations to the wonderful Aoife and Helen who got married with us on Saturday.
