EIGHT YEARS IN BUSINESS!

I celebrated 8 years in the game this week and I’m trying to wrap my head around it. I can’t believe how quickly time has flown, it honestly feels surreal even saying that out loud.

I was uming and ahing about doing a shoot again, first I didn’t know what style I wanted to go with, then when I got some last minute supplies my delivery was delayed, and even whilst I was loading up the car and taking everything out I had no motivation (not forgetting having to move the install inside and re setup the following day because it got too dark) but I pushed through and I’m so glad I did because it was actually fun in the end. Thank you to for hyping me up too.

Being a business owner is not for the weak. The long hours, the constant problem-solving, the highs and the lows, it’s a journey only the strong truly understand. But despite the challenges, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I get to be creative, work with incredible people, and be part of some of the most special moments in your lives. That’s the real reward.

There have been times I didn’t feel like celebrating. Times I doubted myself, felt overwhelmed, or questioned everything. But every single year I look back, I realise just how far I’ve come. I’ve persevered through situations many would never know about, and I’ve done it with grit, passion, and a mindset determined to win.

I am truly grateful to everyone who has supported me - whether you’ve liked a post, shared my work, booked my services, referred me to a friend (let’s keep up those recommendations 🤣), or simply sent kind words of encouragement. And a very special thank you to my industry friends who I can trust, collaborate with, and call on when needed - your support means more than you know.
