Here is last weekend's autumnal wedding cake, which was delivered to The Old Bridge Hotel, Huntingdon on an unseasonably warm and sunny day 🍂🍁☀️

The bride chose an autumnal colour pallet to showcase the sugar flowers, with just a hint of metallic rose and royal golds. The 18 inch tall cake comprised of a mix of Sumptuous Chocolate and Traditional Fruit tiers and I'm told that it was very much enjoyed by the bride & groom and their guests ❤️

All too often every day concerns and the larger worries of life can weigh us down. Our hearts and minds are filled with burden and we lose sight of the simple beauty which surrounds us. I urge you to read and take stock of Berry's words, and rest easy for a while.

Here is this week's cake... a stunning combination of sophisticated navy blue tiers and floral hoop in dusky pink tones.

This stunning wedding cake measured 23 inches tall and consisted of four tiers of Classic Vanilla sponge and Sumptuous Chocolate Sponge.

A big shout out to Karen & Mark who tied the knot yesterday at Sheene Mill, Hertfordshire.

I had the pleasure of creating their wedding cake and all four tall and elegant tiers, complete with hand crafted sugar floral hoop, were safely delivered to Sheene Mill yesterday morning. Pictures to follow, so continue to watch this space and you won't be disappointed!

So, I celebrated my own birthday in style this week, with one of my cakes. 🎉🎈 I don't usually get around to making myself a cake, as I'm usually too busy making cakes for my customers.

I had intended to go with a Stranger Things theme, but owing to time constraints I went with one of my other loves... all things Japanese. And here she is, my very own little sugar Kokeshi doll! 😍🎎🎌
