This is a bring your own event and admission is free.
Unfortunately the "Live Music" previously advertised will not now take place but you can still join us for a blather and a social drink.

RFT SHOW AND GALA.
Now less than 10 weeks to go to show day on 8th August 2026. How time flies! Don't get caught out folks! Get those knitting needles looked out, get practicing with your cake decorations and get making some beautiful beaded jewellery. Just a reminder that this year there will be a flag competition (this will replace the scarecrow competition). Any size, shape, colour or theme will be judged. There will also be our fancy dress competition so time to start thinking about your costume for this year. Children and adults are encouraged to take part and there is no set theme for the fancy dress.
Show schedules will be delivered to households in the community very soon and we would encourage everyone to read the rules around entering carefully. There is a cut off date for entry forms to be submitted so please take note of this.
Just a reminder that our pet show will be held on Friday 7th August 2026 and a games afternoon will be held on Sunday 9th August 2026 as a part of our gala weekend.
The committee were delighted with the support we received last year so lets make RFT Show and Gala 2026 even better.

ROYAL FOUR TOWNS SHOW AND GALA 2026
We are pleased to announce that this year we are adding to our gala by introducing a Games Afternoon on the Sunday following our main show day (Sunday 9th August 2026). More information on this will be circulated soon, however, if you enjoy a wee spot of Bingo or you are a budding athlete with an ambition to take part in the Hightae Olympics please keep this date free in your diary.
We are also pleased to announce that due to the superb participation last year our Pet Show will be back in 2026 with a trophy, rosettes and prizes up for grabs. This will be on the evening of Friday 7th August 2026.
Our show day will follow a similar format to last year in that we will have a fancy dress parade and games for children and adults on the green. This year we will be having a flag competition to replace the scarecrow competition we held last year. So any homemade flag of any shape colour, size will be judged. As with the fancy dress there is no set theme.
We were over the moon with the participation and support we received last year and it would be lovely to receive this level of support again in 2026.

This month's Coffee Morning which would have been on Friday 27th February has unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the road works at the corner of School Road and High Road.
The usual monthly Coffee Morning will return on Friday 27th March.
