I’m Paul and I’m an experienced wedding photographer based in Somerset. I’m Paul and I’m an experienced wedding photographer in Somerset.

I specialize in beautiful, natural wedding photography with a supportive approach for couples who love and cherish images captured with care. I like to photograph weddings creatively and in a way that is authentic and real. I will document those natural and honest moments and the emotion they bring whilst keeping it relaxed and fun. I love being part of the wedding day, laughing with the couple as

well as having fun with the guests. I am also there to support you in getting ready to marry the love of your life. I like to work in an unobtrusive way and will shoot in a documentary style for most of your day. This means that I’ll be following the flow of the wedding capturing things as they happen rather than making them happen. I do of course capture a few family group photos and line-ups plus some beautiful casually posed portraits of just the two of you during the day. My overall aim is to create photos that capture the genuine look and feel of your special day. This enables you to focus on enjoying your day knowing that treasured moments are being documented for a lifetime.

Zoe & Ben… where do I even start?
This wedding was pure joy. Seventeen years together, finally celebrating with a room full of the people who have watched their story grow.

Did it rain?
Oh yes. It hammered down from morning till night, and was so windy!
Did they care?
Not at all. We had roaring fires, towering Christmas trees, and every one of their favourite humans packed into one cosy place to celebrate something that’s been years in the making.

I met Ben years ago when he was training in A&E, so being asked to photograph their day meant a lot. When couples you actually know choose you, it just hits differently.

We planned to head out for some rain-soaked night shots… but the rain stopped (typical 🤣). Luckily, I’d packed Bubble guns — and they had one too — so the bridal party ended up sprinting around them like absolute lunatics, it was so much fun, some my of slipped 🤣

Just wholesome chaos in the best possible way.

On Friday I had the joy of capturing Kate & Dan’s wedding — and even though the sun was out in full force, the chill in the air definitely reminded us it’s still winter! ☀️❄️

Did that stop these two? Not a chance. They came to celebrate hard and they brought the energy all day long. Such a fun wedding to be part of.

I’ve got a real soft spot for Christmas-themed weddings, and their vision was spot on. The Great Hall glowing with Christmas trees after dark… absolutely stunning!

Kate & Dan — what a day. What a vibe. What a celebration. Thank you for choosing me to capture such a lush day!! 🫶

Last week I was invited to capture something a little different — and honestly, it felt lush to switch up the pace. No timelines, no pressure… just pure fun and creativity.

Crowcombe Court hosted a gorgeous afternoon tea for brides and their mums, followed by a wedding fashion show packed with stunning bridal gowns and MOB outfits. The models — all first-timers — absolutely owned that aisle/catwalk. Loved seeing them shine.

Olly from stepped up as MC and smashed it, narrating each look with style (and learning more dress terminology in one afternoon than he ever planned to 🤣).

Huge shoutout to and for providing the incredible dresses. So many unique styles and definitely lots of inspo for anyone planning their Somerset wedding.

Loved being part of this one. More events like this, please. 🙌📸

Out of Office Mode: Activated

That’s a wrap! 🎉 I’ve just delivered my final wedding gallery in the queue this weekend! — Ally & Lewis, your Old Oak Farm day was the perfect one to finish on. What a way to close out the season so far! ❤️

Now it’s time to unplug for a bit — a week away with the family, log fires, hot tub, good food, and zero editing for once 🔥🍷

I’ll be back in early November, recharged and ready to dive into the festive weddings to round off 2025 strong.

Love, Chaos & Questionable Dance Moves — 2025.

This year has been one hell of a journey — 54 weddings, 25 pre-wedding shoots, and even a 48-hour dash to Greece and back. From emotional vows and belly laughs to full-blown dance-floor carnage, 2025 gave me everything.

To every single couple — thank you. You trusted me with one of the most important days of your lives, and that’s something I’ll never take for granted. You brought the love, the chaos, the tears, and, yes… the truly questionable dance moves.

I’ve got six more festive weddings before a much-needed breather, but before I switch off — just know this:

You made this year unforgettable.

Smoke Flares, Fairy Lights & Full-On Fun at Old Oak Farm!

Yesterday’s wedding at Old Oak Farm was an absolute blast — no serious faces allowed! 😆 Ally & Lewis were up for anything (and I mean anything). From colourful smoke flares to wrapping themselves up in fairy lights for some wild, creative shots — these two nailed the “have fun and don’t take life too seriously” brief perfectly.

It’s couples like this that remind me why I love what I do — laughter, energy, and a bit of chaos always make for the best photos!

Huge congratulations to Ally & Lewis — what a way to close out my season! That’s me now taking a lush six-week break before jumping into the winter weddings full of festive vibes. 🎄🎉

Yesterday I was back at the beautiful Pennard House for Kristina & James’ wedding – and wow, the autumn wedding vibes were everywhere 🍂 From the rich colours to the crisp air, it was the perfect Somerset setting.

I’ve actually known Kristina for many years from my NHS days, and more recently from working alongside her at weddings where she’s usually the one creating stunning bridal make-up looks. This time though, she was the bride – and yes, she even did her own make-up for her big day (and looked incredible doing it)! 💄✨

These two definitely came ready to party, and their guests matched the energy all day long! 🎉 Weddings at Pennard House always have such a relaxed, fun feel, and Kristina & James made it completely their own.

If you’re planning a Somerset wedding and love the idea of a venue with character, charm, and space to party into the night – Pennard House is a gem!
