Happy Birthday, Verdi! 🎂🎈

Born in 1813, the legendary maestro would have been 213 years old today.

To celebrate, we are gearing up to watch La Traviata on Friday 16 October at 7pm - streaming completely for free on OperaVision!

Later this year, we are also thrilled to stage a revival of Verdi's Falstaff as part of our 2027 Festival.

On Sunday 18 October, Garsington Studios opens its doors to everyone who loves to move! Don't worry if you think you have two left feet, these workshops are open to all abilities.

🕺 Boogie away in our morning session, designed for families with children aged 5 to 11.

We're looking for a Trainee Assistant Conductor and a Trainee Repetiteur to join our talent development ‘Pathways Programme’ for our 2027 season!

🎼 Are you an aspiring conductor ready to step out of the conservatoire and into a professional opera company? The Trainee Assistant Conductor role could be the perfect fit for you, joining the Music Staff for Verdi’s Falstaff.

✨ Or are you a pianist looking to bridge the gap between music college and a professional opera house, with a desire to collaborate closely with singers and choruses? The Trainee Repetiteur role could be right up your street, working on Mozart’s La clemenza di Tito and Wagner’s Der fliegende Holländer.
