Things are a little sad in my life at the moment which I won't go into in detail on here.
Firstly I want to thank all my clients and couples for their patience and understanding with my delayed replies these last 6 weeks for enquiries and quotations, my heart is full with all your lovely words and support especially when you book me for your weddings and events for next year too.
My second thanks to my team here at Northumbrian Flowers, Christine, Sue, Alix, Nicola and Jane, my backroom support being Peter my webguy and my accountants, my hubby and family too.
All the amazing team in Ward 2 at Hexham General - absolute diamonds and superstars in their own right and I will be arranging something for you all - I'll be in touch I promise.
I made this bouquet this morning for a guest arriving Matfen Hall later today. I love this so much it brings some colour and joy during sad times so I'd like to do a special fundraiser for Parkinsons UK Charity.
I've got 7 of these beautiful bouquets (they will wrapped but open ended) I usually sell for £60 but just for this weekend they will be £40.
You'll need to collect from my home studio in Wark NE48 3PL and you can pay cash on collection or by PayPal friends and family option to avoid charges.
The whole value of £40 will be donated to the charity.
For transparency the roses are imported but everything else is grown on my flower farm.

You guys are just the best! You've voted with your feet and pockets because I just received the best email from Brocksbushes Farm Shop to tell me that for the second weekend in a row my bunches of flowers have completely SOLD OUT in 2 days......so they've increased the order and frequency - how fabulous is that!?
From this Friday there will be more farm shop bunches for you to choose from and then on a Monday a cheeky top up of more.
So no need to dash down at 8.30am on a Friday as now there will be more flowers to go round. 😁.....but don't dillydally either 😂
I wish my brother could have seen this he'd have been so proud of me ❤️

Weekly roundup:
Monday was a big cutting day for multiple florist orders required in the early half of the week, I also collated my cutting lists for the rest of the week, Sue did some speed weeding and helped me finish cutting a particularly large order and then we both did some speed planting. Evening wedding consultation and quotes sent out ✔️
Tuesday and I get up at 5am and do a dawn delivery run to Kendal and always a bank busting stop off and Tebay services on the return...back to the walled garden to cut more orders, then an evening wedding consultation.
Wednesday meet with 2 florists to hand over very large orders rest of the day spend doing admin and family time
Thursday family time amd late afternoon cutting more floeers and watering seedlings.
Friday making up lots of bunches for Brocksbushes and weekly changeover at Matfen Hall, seed sowing, admin and make up bouquet orders. Early finish for supper and Hothouse Flowers gig in town with good friends.
Saturday a stiff and slow start ....late night and dancing ! Drop off guest flowers and gift bouquet and afternoon at walled garden watering and weeding tying in the indoor sweet peas. Cut some blue and pink sweet peas for my dad. Sent out flowers for florists availability list for the following week flowers looking particularly good are the indoor delphiniums and stocks!
Sunday foliage installation changeover at Blackfriars, got van washed and headed to walled garden to cut first big order of the week for delivery to Kendal in the morning. Cutting 90 stems roses alone today for the next few weeks I'll be cutting on average 150-200 stems of roses each week
Enjoyed a lovely roast dinner cooked by my wonderful hubby.
The next week is on repeat!

Friday Flowers are now waiting for you to make your selection Brocksbushes Farm Shop
There's bunches of mixed coral peony, double cerise peony and for the early bird 1bunch of scented pink peony!
There's bunches of excellent scented stocks in pale lemon, white, deep rose and rarely seen apricot!
And back by popular consensus are the mixed bunches, this weekend you have in the mixed bunch stock, peony, allium, sweet williams, apple mint and cornflower.
All 100% grown on the flower farm here at Northumbrian Flowers
Local, truly seasonal, sustainable, minimal carbon footprint.
Wrapped in paper and tied with string nothing to go in landfills everything is home compostable

And just like that my fresh seasonal bunches of beautiful flowers are back at Brocksbushes Farm Shop for you to pop in and pick up a bunch to brighten up your weekend!
All the flowers you will see throughout the summer will be grown on my flower farm, I do not buy in from other growers for these special farm shop bunches, thus guaranteeing 100% sown and grown by me at Northumbrian Flowers in the very heart of Northumberland!
This weekend's flowers include the start of my peony crop, with mixed gorgeous coral peony bunches for only £15, bunches of stocks and ranunculus for £12.50 and pretty mixed bunches for £15. Always delivered fresh on a Friday morning.

That's a wrap!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

This year has been a blast and very busy, I've been honoured to supply and create amazing flowers for so many different styles of weddings thank you to each and every couple who gave me creative freedom to do what I do best, to create unforgettable wedding flowers.
Special thanks to an amazing team I could not have done any of it without them their help support and humour
Christine, Sue, Susie, Dee, Alix, Erin, Daisy, Jane, Nicola, and of course my hubby Pete.
My studio is now closed untill the new year and all new emails will be replied to from the 6th January (outstanding emails will be replied to between Christmas and New Year)
Thank you for all the orders and reccomendations it all helps to keep this little farm of mine growing and supplying flowers to florists and weddings throught the flower season.

Join me Matfen Hall on Friday 29th November for my only luxury Christmas door wreath Masterclass this season.
We will be situated in the Orangery which will be beautifully transformed into a gorgeous Christmas scene, overlooking the stunning parkland.
There'll be an array of hand picked scented Christmas foliage grown in Northumberland, traditional dried decorations and a selection of baubles and other luxury pieces for you to adorn your own handcrafted luxury wreath with....not forgetting my impressive selection of bows to finish with too!
