Wise words, please keep dogs on a lead.

This Springtime it’s more important than ever to keep your dog on a lead.

The ‘Take the Lead’ campaign encourages dog owners to be responsible and considerate when visiting the national park to balance the needs of visitors, wildlife, and livestock.

Uncontrolled pets can have devastating effects in the landscape, from chasing livestock that can separate mothers from their young or lead to pregnant livestock miscarrying, to dog attacks resulting in injury or death.

Introducing William Charlton. President of Bellingham Show.

William along with his wife Anna run the Hesleyside Estate which is the land Bellingham Show takes place on.Farmer by Colin, our Chairman. We are very grateful to them for allowing the show to take place on the land.

William’s family are long, long standing supporters of the show and now as his family get older they too can be found helping on showday.
