We knew Classic Cars at Hesslewood 2026 was our biggest one yet.

We knew the crowds were bigger. We knew more vehicles had pre-booked than ever before. And so we hoped the amount raised would also be a record.

Now we can finally tell you…

£14,423.42 RAISED! 🎉

That’s more than any single event we’ve held to date!

A HUGE thank you to every visitor, exhibitor, volunteer, sponsor, stallholder and supporter who helped make it happen. Your generosity will make a big difference to Humber Wellbeing Hub and Humber Rescue ❤️

Classic Cars at Hesslewood 2026 has come and gone.

Our 6th event of it's kind, and by every measure we can count so far, it was the biggest one yet!

A record number of pre-booked vehicles, the highest public attendance to date, and a day that is set to have raised more money than any single Hesslewood Charitable Causes Fund event before it.

With so many fantastic vehicles joining us at Classic Cars at Hesslewood this year - more than ever before - choosing just a handful for our exhibitor awards was no easy task!

Every vehicle on display is somebody’s pride and joy, and every one has its own story to tell. But after much deliberation, our 2026 winners were:

🏆 Spirit of Hesslewood - 1962 Morris Cooper in blue
✨ Most Surprising Sight - 1991 Ford Fiesta 1.1 Popular Plus in white
🏍️ Best on Two Wheels - 1982 Suzuki RG 500 Mk7 Grand Prix Race Bike
😎 Still Got It! - Lotus Esprit in Orange
👀 Most Likely to Cause a Double-Take - 1963 Trojan Bubble Car in Blue
✨ Shiny Side Up (and the Best Bits Polished!) - 1959 Buick Invicta Convertible in White
📖 If These Wheels Could Talk - 1970 Ford Es**rt Mexico Original Rally Car in Red

A huge thank you to Steven Waite (and his helper, George 🐾) from Cranswick PLC, one of our event sponsors, who took on the rather unenviable job of judging the awards for us. With the quality, variety and character of the vehicles on display, we certainly didn’t make it easy for him!

And thank you to Humber Wave Radio for announcing our category winners on the day. 🎙️

Some of our winners were with their vehicles when the awards were presented and were absolutely delighted. Others heard the announcement and some will have wandered back later to find a rather unexpected surprise waiting for them! 🏆

Congratulations to all seven, and a BIG thank you to every single exhibitor who brought their pride and joy along. The cars, bikes, campers (and more) and their stories are what make the event what it is.
