Hosted by Suzi from Rosewood Wine School and Charlotte (our hostess with the mostess!) we blend wine tastings, paired nibbles, and plenty of good vibes 🍷🧀 🌍 💫

No pretentiousness here - just a welcoming community of curious wine lovers exploring different grapes, regions, and producers 🍇🍷 As well as our monthly workshops we have other exciting things on the horizon that you can be a part of if you’d like to - including exciting wine themed activities, producer demos, uk vineyard tours and trips to further afield (we’re heading to La Rioja next month!) 🥂

Fly to Bilbao, where we’ll greet you and whisk you away to your central 4 star accommodation in Haro - La Rioja’s beating heart and undisputed wine capital 🍷 🌎

Across the four days, we’ve crafted an unforgettable itinerary packed with unforgettable experiences including a showstopper visit to the legendary winery, housed in a breathtaking Frank Gehry‑designed masterpiece (yes—the same visionary behind Bilbao’s Guggenheim). Expect an unforgettable tour, guided tastings, and a gourmet lunch in the winery’s acclaimed restaurant ⭐️

We’ll also take time to savour Haro itself - its cobbled lanes, lively market, the famed ‘golden mile’ of world‑class Rioja wineries, as well as a tour and tasting at a traditional family‑owned bodega, complete with a historic Rioja wine cave. We’ll round off the trip with a celebratory evening meal of authentic La Rioja tapas.

This year’s International Women’s Day Theme is ‘Give to Gain’ - When we give, we gain 💜

My journey into the wine industry is still relatively early, but it’s already been rich, generous, and hugely rewarding 🥂

Alongside building a new wine business, I’m juggling life as a mum to three young children, working in mental health services, and studying for the WSET Diploma 🤓 Time and resilience can be hard to come by some days – but what makes it all possible is the unwavering support and side‑line cheering from some truly amazing women and the encouragement I have found from the wine industry as a whole.

I pledge to continue with my own “give to gain” contributions including:

🍷 Freely sharing my time, advice, and growing knowledge with others
🍷 Making introductions and building meaningful connections
🍷 Creating inclusive, welcoming wine spaces
🍷 Gifting wines and curated gift bags to support charity and community events
🍷 Encouraging curiosity, confidence, and belonging in wine
🍷 and let’s not forget, delivering lots of delicious pours!

And what I’ve gained in return has been immense: confidence, friendships, learning, and a real sense of community.

I’m endlessly grateful to the women who continue to inspire me, who have shared their wisdom with me, and who have welcomed me into this wonderful world of wine with open arms. What I’ve gained in return has been immense: confidence, friendships, learning, and a real sense of community.

As my family and friends will tell you, I’ll chase a wine tasting wherever I am in the world 🌎 Last night delivered one of the most magical settings yet: a thoughtfully curated wine lineup, a golden sun sinking into the Indian Ocean, and spinner dolphins jumping & dancing along a pink horizon 🐬🌅🌊🍷🥂 And a very special shout to who expertly guided us through each pour and stunning cheese pairings👌🏻

It’s a beautiful reminder of wine’s magic - connecting those who share a love of wine and an appreciation and respect for the nature, places and people that make every bottle possible!
