Directions Website

Stephen Barry is a multi award winning magician, mind reader, hypnotist and pick pocket who shatters all the cheesy clichés of a typical magician. You wont find any spotty silk handkerchiefs, bunches of flowers or rabbits in top hats.

His performance style, sleight of hand, and audience interaction has made him a favourite amongst VIPs and celebrities.

Stephen can perform close up, mix and mingle, table to table or on stage to your own personal requirements. Right in front of your eyes Stephen will make the impossible, possible and give your guests an experience they will never forget.

Not every night do you get to perform magic in a setting quite like this… ✨

I had the privilege of performing an intimate private show for Neil Utley and his family at Rowneybury House — “Beckingham Palace”.

An incredible home, a beautiful evening and a fantastic audience.

Performing magic in such an intimate setting, surrounded by family and friends, is something I absolutely love — and this was a particularly memorable one.

A very special evening. 🎩✨

Thank you to Neil and the family for having me.

✈️ 15 years of 365 Aviation

Delighted to have been part of the celebrations for the 15th anniversary of 365 Aviation at 45th and 7th - Rooftop pool & dining in Shoreditch

A fantastic evening celebrating 15 years of bespoke private aviation, exceptional service and a team that clearly knows how to throw a party.

I was there to add a little magic to the evening, entertaining guests with close-up magic and mind reading throughout the celebrations.

And, naturally, there may have been a few impossible moments along the way… 🪄

A huge congratulations to everyone at 365 Aviation on an incredible milestone. Here’s to the next 15. 🥂

Christmas, with a touch of magic. ✨

This festive season, I’m delighted to be returning to the magnificent British Pullman Pullman, performing aboard selected journeys throughout November and December.

There are few settings quite like it. Beautifully restored 1920s carriages, exquisite dining, ch*****ne and the English countryside unfolding beyond the windows.

I’ll be adding a little sophisticated close-up magic and mind reading along the way, with plenty of charm, humour and a touch of mischief.

A wonderfully British way to begin the festive season.

By royal appointment… 👑

I was recently booked to perform at Prince Deremi Sijuwade’s 40th birthday celebrations at Fairmont Windsor Park

Deremi is a member of the Sijuwade family and the son of the late Oba Okunade Sijuwade, Olubuse II, the former Ooni of Ife, so it was quite a guest list to be entertaining!

I was asked to do a short stage performance during the evening, followed by roaming magic and mind reading around the room.

A combination I really enjoy. Start on stage, then get amongst the guests and create some very personal moments.

A fantastic evening and a pleasure to be part of Deremi’s 40th.

Thank you for having me. 👑🥂✨

Did everyone get this…?

🚨 SEVERE CHRISTMAS ALERT 🚨

The UK Government may have warned us about wildfires…

I’m warning you about something far more serious.

Christmas party dates disappearing. 🎄

There is currently a very high risk of discovering that the magician you really wanted is already booked.

Symptoms may include:

• Awkward silences
• Overly enthusiastic party games
• Uncle Dave telling the same story again
• Guests checking their phones
• And someone asking, “So… what are we doing now?”

Fortunately, there is a simple preventative measure.

Book Stephen Barry.

I’ll bring the magic, the laughs and just enough mischief to make your Christmas party one people actually remember.

🎅 Don’t leave it until December.

Book now. Panic later.

Tonight I will make the sun disappear. ☀️

I’ve been practising for years, and frankly, it’s about time I attempted something a little more ambitious.

No pressure.

If it works, brilliant.

If it doesn’t… I’ll be sticking to cards. 😂

Wish me luck. 🪄
