Anyone remember MUSIC FOR HEROES, later CLUB DADA, Tuesday nights at Becketts nightclub in Ware a million or so years ago? Futurist, Goth before there was such a word, New Romantic, The Cult With No Name, Mutant Disco… and all that Terrifyingly, it’ll be the 45th anniversary of the very first night, of my very first club/gig promotion (with Pete Moss) at the end of May!
Can’t let that pass unmarked – I’d like to invite you (and anyone you’d like to bring along) to party like it’s 1981 at the MUSIC FOR HEROES REUNION PARTY… A special anniversary version of my KEVOLUTION thing at The Hertford Club on Friday 29th May (8pm to midnight), with yours truly playing all the stuff from back then – and loads more 80s stuff for the normal people.
PLUS sexy live covers of 80s greats like INXS, THE CURE, PIXIES, PET SHOP BOYS, SINEAD O'CONNOR, ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN, A-HA, BRONSKI BEAT, BANANARAMA, SHAKESPEARE'S SISTER , MADONNA, KATE BUSH and more from the pouting, pulchritudinous QUIVERING LIP DO THE 80S.
