One of the things that made Beach Hut Weddings so special were the amazing people that worked here. Tonight we came together to appreciate each other and the amazing memories we have made whilst helping create wonderful memories for our couples. wasn’t just Kirsty and a hut. It was a whole support system from the pier trust, the traders on the pier, to the staff. This is what made it so special. Forever grateful for the experiences and memories we have made together on Herne Bay Pier 💕

I used to dream about having a wedding venue when I was marrying people as a registrar. I feel very lucky that one day, out of nowhere, I had the idea to help people marry by the sea in a little beach hut on a pier. Today is our last official wedding, and we ended on such a high. Intimate ceremony, no guests, just two people in love. This was a great reminder about what motivated me to open Beach Hut Weddings. Celebrating love….and oh how we have done that on Herne Bay Pier. I will have more to say before I go, but for today, i’m remembering to celebrate love by the sea!

Last evening wedding reception for Beach Hut Weddings on Herne Bay Pier. We still have a few weddings left this summer, but no more evening sunsets, dancing brides and memories being made under the lights! I am not going to lie, I will not miss the tidy up! I will 100% miss all the amazing moments that we share and friendships made. This summer is going to be emotional!
