A lovely day spent serving up a full Tex-Mex spread 🌶️

Thank you and for welcoming us into your home to help to celebrate your lovely daughter’s birthday.

On the menu was a warming and hearty slow braised beef shin chilli con carne served with fluffy jacket potatoes and steamed rice alongside fresh guacamole, cowboy caviar salad, sour cream, grated cheese and crispy tortilla chips. Comfort food done properly 🌶️

Our Italian style sharing platters bring people together with every bite - golden focaccia with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar, mini caprese bites, grilled peach with taleggio and prosciutto. A dairy free alternative using manchego. And sourdough bruschetta.

We had the pleasure of catering a dinner party for and in their gorgeous home, surrounded by a fantastic group of friends. The theme? A vibrant Italian menu, curated with love and full of flavour - we had just as much fun creating it as they did enjoying it!

The Farmer’s Larder is based at a working family farm that keeps cattle for finishing and sells their beef locally.

We are passionate about using locally sourced and seasonal produce. And we are so lucky to be surrounded by an abundance of it in Herefordshire.

• Scallop bonbon, wrapped in prosciutto and cooked in roe butter, served on a spiced cauliflower purée.
