Back at the end of May I took a trip down to the big smoke for Liv and Joe's wedding.
Although always (secretly) a little nervous about driving my precious 2CV through London, the nerves drifted away as I arrived and met Liv and her excited 2CV fan dad.

My day made all the better thanks to this lovely email from the father of the bride. ❤❤

Dear Jenny, Thank you so much for your absolutely brilliant service at my daughters wedding. The car was fantastic & Dawn was absolutely over joyed at arriving at the church in such a beautiful classic car. The fact that you were able to allow time for people to admire the car, before, during and after the wedding including the taking of photographs made the day extra special for the bride & groom. I can not express my thanks enough to you.
I am sorry this is a short thank you; but your help made a special day extra special. I can not highly recommend you enough. There was lots of ohhs & Ahhs at the sight of Dawn arriving then leaving with her newly wedded husband Arthur, and arriving at the reception. Again Many thanks for your help. I hope you continue to provide other future wedding couples the same Wow factor you gave us.

The last 2 weekends have been all about the brides and their wonderful mums escorting them to their ceremonies.
Both had chosen the 2CV as it reminded them of their dads and their childhood family cars.
Both of you made me shed a tear or two (I'm not sure how well I hid it) as I could see how much it meant to you all.

Last weekend most of 2CV Wedding Cars had a weekend off to host our annual Cider Camp weekend, however the show must go on and Lord Edgar was on duty for Fiona and Ed at Lyde Court.
