One of my favourite parts of being a wedding nanny is getting to be part of such a special day and making sure the little ones feel just as loved, happy and included 🥰

It was such a privilege to look after the bride & groom’s gorgeous little boy on their wedding day. From keeping him entertained and happy, to making sure he was comfortable throughout all the excitement. It was so lovely to be by his side and watch him enjoy such a special day with his Mummy & Daddy 🤍

The perfect balance of play, cuddles, smiles and making those all-important memories. 🥹✨

Being trusted to care for someone’s little one on their wedding day is such a privilege and my biggest priority is always making sure they feel safe, happy and completely comfortable — while their parents can relax and enjoy every moment of their special day 🤍

I loved getting to know this little girl before the wedding, learning all about her routine, likes and dislikes and then spending the day making sure she was having just as much fun as her Mummy and Daddy!

Knowing that her parents could enjoy their wedding knowing she was happy and so well cared for means everything to me🥰

It really is the biggest compliment when a family says they would “100% choose her again” for their future childcare 🤍✨

✨ A little reminder when choosing childcare ✨

When it comes to your little ones, the cheapest option isn’t always the best option. It’s so important to look beyond the hourly rate and make sure you feel completely confident in the person you’re booking.

Before booking a nanny or babysitter, why not ask:
✨ Are they DBS checked?
✨ Do they have childcare qualifications and relevant experience?
✨ Are they paediatric first aid trained?
✨ Do they have public liability insurance?
✨ Can they provide references or testimonials?

Professional childcare involves much more than simply looking after children. There are ongoing costs for insurance, training, DBS checks, first aid courses, memberships and keeping knowledge and skills up to date — all of which help ensure children are cared for safely and professionally.

Of course, everyone charges differently, and a lower price doesn’t automatically mean poor service. They may be starting out or offering an introductory rate. But whatever the price, the right checks, experience and safeguards should always be in place.

Never feel awkward about asking questions before booking. A professional childcare provider should be more than happy to reassure you and explain what they offer.
