Some of the beautiful wreaths I’ve delivered over the past few days… I’m just hoping they stay that way despite this horrid weather! Since many of my wreaths include delicate dried flowers, fruit and seedheads, they will not love getting soaked by the rain and buffeted by the wind. So if your front door is very exposed, you may want to consider bringing your wreath inside for a day or two until the weather is calmer. Let’s hope for some winter sun very soon!

It was impossibly Christmassy ‘s Alpine Ski Chalet last week, the perfect venue for some luxury wreath making (albeit the atmospheric lighting proved tricky for photographing it all!) and these gorgeous ladies created some equally gorgeous wreaths 😍 We worked with exclusively British foliage and locally-grown dried flowers and seed heads… with a few glitter-balls in the mix! Thanks to everyone who came and helped raise money for , and thanks to for having me to host!

♥️🌲 Traditional colours on this beauty but also lots of elegant movement… the red and cream ribbons are giving preppy Ralph Lauren vibes. But if you’re the type of household where there’ll be dancing in the kitchen this Christmas then the Mariah may be for you! 🪩If you’re the type of person who believes disco balls have no place on a wreath then don’t worry, they are far from mandatory! I will always encourage fairy lights though!

🧡💜 Today’s colourful wreath: this one reminds me of a vintage dress! Lots of orange, pink and purple, with a couple of purple velvet ribbon options to choose from. I LOVE this 70s-tastic combination! 🧡💜

Unexpected snow here in Oxfordshire today inspired this cool and frosty wreath - beautiful even in the sleet! If you prefer your wreaths elegant, wintry and understated this could be the one for you.

I know I said no more flowers but… This vase of “leftovers” hangs out on the edge of mellow yellow and creamy buff, with painterly raspberry smudges. The stars of the show for me here are the gorgeous annual phlox, which now have lovely long, twisty stems. I thought they were over for the year but they keep coming! I sowed three varieties: crème caramel, crème brûlée and blushing bride.

The apricot lemonade cosmos have been harder to use this year, blooming in quite a tart, limey yellow. However, viewed from the underside, with the light infusing through their blushing pink-striped petals… chef’s kiss 👌

Not all autumn flowers are bright and bold, wham bam blooms 💥 These delicate phlox, cynoglossum and cosmos dance among the soft tones of the sunflowers and dahlias in this special bouquet. The garden is definitely calming down now but there are still treasures to be found.

Further to my reel the other day, about how we were “hanging in there”…

Well this is what that looks like - swipe for more. Thankfully there were still plenty of stunning blooms in the garden and field for all the gift bouquet and subscription orders last week - here are a few of them, still looking pretty good to me! 😍💐🌸🌻
