Hi,
Let me introduce myself, my name is Rea a mummy to 3 beautiful children one of which is on the autism spectrum.
I have struggled for years with tears and tantrums at friends birthday parties and also a few parties for him ending in tears and stress so much so we gave up throwing him a party until I thought of ways to make the party fit around him in every aspect, taking into account all his sensory needs.
I want to be able to help other children have the best party suited to them, all children deserve a special day with no stress just full of laughter and feeling comfortable and happy at the end.
Birthdays can be fun, memorable celebrations to mark another year in your child’s life.
They can also be stressful, overwhelming especially for children on the autism spectrum who have sensory processing challenges.
It can be hard finding a venue and activities to suit there needs, I know this all to well being a mum of a child on the autism spectrum.
Birthday parties can be challenging for a lot of kids, a new location and pressure to join in with activities that may be extreamly stressful to them.
It's important to think about what scenario is most likely to be fun and enjoyable for your child after all it's their special day.
At Enchanted sensory we specialise in parties for children on the spectrum, we will have a consultation firstly to find out your child's needs and sensory issues, what they love to do and things they find fun and then plan a party that's unique to them and their needs right down to the smallest detail.
All children deserve a special day and we're here to make that happen.
