I met this wonderful couple only a few months ago and we just clicked over scones, jam and cream. My first wedding for 2024 and what a beauty it was today. you and your lovely Simon are such a divine couple. You epitomise what it is to be in love. You both fill my heart with joy. I was so thrilled to officiate your wedding celebration today. Your face when I sang at the end was a picture. Today is the first weekend that I am spending at home for quite a while. What, no weddings? ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​I know Insta is for sharing happy wedding celebrations, but boy oh boy, what a loss to the entertainment industry this week. I will treasure this picture even more than I did.

This weekend, BBC Radio 2 is to air a tribute to Sir Michael Parkinson who passed away on Wednesday night.
The special Sunday Night is Music Night from the London Palladium, which was first aired in 2018, follows Sir Michael’s love affair with music. Guest vocalists featuring include Joe Stilgoe, Alison Jiear, Gwyn Jay Allen and Hailey Tuck, together with the sixty-piece BBC Concert Orchestra and the BBC Big Band.

Sunday Night Is Music Night – a Tribute to Sir Michael Parkinson can be heard on BBC Radio 2 this Sunday, 20 August 8pm – 10pm and is available on BBC Sounds now.

Rest in peace Sir Michael. You were a true gent. x

What a wonderful day last Friday at Fanham's Hall in Ware with Beth and Wes. Their Love Story is unique. Their ceremony needed to reflect that. Best Friends. Soulmates in every sense of the word. Their choice of music was so beautiful too. ​​​​​​​​​.​​​​​​​​​.

ONLY TWO SLEEPS til I’m back at Avington Park with the wonderful Alice Hudson and to marry a beautiful Burmese princess to her Scottish comedian Gregor. I mean it … he’s very funny!!! The question is … what WILL he have on under his kilt??? Tell you Sunday!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Luckily Millie Scott will be playing the bagpipes, not me. Phew!

If there is one thing that speaks volumes about my business, it’s the smile that welcomes to your congregation, it’s the warmth that makes you feel safe, and my energy that guarantees you and your friends and family a wonderful ceremony. Hang on, that was three things!!!

It was wonderful working with Heidi and Daniel, not only officiating their wedding, but arranging the music for them on the day. This involved editing their music to perfection, so that their entrances were timed, and ensuring that everything flowed seamlessly.

With a Disney theme present, I read the Closing Words over the introduction to I SEE THE LIGHT from "Tangled", which lead into the song. This segued perfectly into the more celebratory ENCHANTED SUITE from "Enchanted", as they exited to applause and cheers from their loved ones.

Music is such an important part of your celebration.
Take the time to ensure it all flows well.
It makes such a difference on the day.

I truly pinch myself whenever I walk into this incredible venue. Ashridge House truly is the most beautiful wedding venue in Hertfordshire.

Even better than the venue itself, are the people who work there; each one committed to the role they play in ensuring the couples who marry there have THE most perfect day.
From the ceremony, to the after party, the care and attention they receive throughout the day, the beautiful menus they create, and the team of preferred suppliers they entrust with caring for their clients.
