We are Hiring

We are looking for people who have bakery and pastry skills and have at least some experience in a commercial bakery. We make Pies, Pasties, Sausage Rolls, Scotch Eggs and other savoury goods as well as cakes for our little Cafe. We are primarily baking for the retail trade and our cafe, two weekly farmers markets, larger events such as Royal Cornwall Show, Food Festivals and Christmas events.

We have full and part time positions available start 5.00am or 7.00am finish at 1.00 or 3.00pm with the occasional Saturday on a rota basis. Customer service skills and willingness to help colleagues are essential qualities. This is a physically demanding role at times especially when leading up to a show or event.

I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone that went to Stithians Show yesterday and bought pies etc from us. I’m sorry there was such a queue - I promise we were working as hard as we could. You are all so amazing and the support you all give me and my wonderful team at the unit is really uplifting. Thank you - see you next year if not before. 💖💖

It’s the perfect day to grab one of our very portable pastry products and head down the hill to explore what the cove has to offer, or just kick back and relax on the beach.

We’re also open in Helston with a bevvy of baked goods available, in behind the Maytree at Maytree Court.

Good day all!

Touching base after a hectic weekend - two markets at Tregew and Helston, plus the epic Porthleven Food Festival, and blessed with magnificent bank holiday weather too!

We’re open as usual today as we draw breath and head into another busy week on the rolling pins - please do drop in and say hi!

Good morning all, and what a beautiful morning it is, we are feeling super grateful to have seen that sunrise this morning, and certainly feeling energised for the day ahead.

It’s looking like a scorcher for those of you down west, come and say hi to Jo and grab a snack if you’re and heading down to the beach.

We’re open here at Helston at Maytree Court, and shortly in Falmouth on Killigrew Street, with all the usual fare available, including breakfast rolls and buckets.

Tis the usual early start for us at the Maytree Unit, but who can complain when the suns up (ish) and the birds are serenading us with their dawn chorus?

We’re open as usual in Helston and Falmouth, with it being Tuesday, there’s the wonderful going on as well, where Jo will be manning our stall, amongst a variety of other local stall holders…
