🕺🎧 Well lookie lookie... it's an actual disco! Who knew Proper Job Disco actually did discos eh?! 🤣🎧🕺

Tonight it's back to one of my absolute favourite venues, Polurrian on the Lizard 🌊✨

The stunning views are one thing, but it's the wonderful staff who always make me feel so welcome every time I visit ❤️

Today belongs to Hattie and Matt as they become Mr & Mrs 🥂💍

As always, I feel incredibly privileged to play a small part in such a special day. Being trusted with someone's wedding celebration is never something I take for granted 😊

So here's to a fantastic evening, a packed dancefloor, and making plenty of memories along the way 🎶🍾💃🕺

☀️🎶 Saturday means another outing for Proper Job’s Golden Oldies 🎶☀️

Today it was off to Tremethick House in Redruth ( Anson Care Services Ltd ) , where a full house was waiting to welcome Michael and his recently repaired speaker 😄🔊

Ann, the activities lead, was in fine form as always and had the troops well and truly geed up before the first song had even started 👏😊

It was a fun hour all round, if a little hot and sweaty 🥵🎤, with plenty of singing along and lots of familiar favourites getting an airing 🎶❤️

Sir Cliff featured heavily in today’s setlist, which sparked plenty of conversations about residents seeing him live over the years 🎵✨

Michael has always enjoyed singing some of Mr Richard’s earlier material, so he was more than happy to indulge a few requests and join in the reminiscing 😊

Tremethick House is always a lovely place to visit and we’re already looking forward to the next one 👍🎶

🍷🧠🎤 WHAT A NIGHT AT POLGOON! 🎤🧠🍷

A great night was had by all at Polgoon Vineyard & Orchard this evening, with a cracking 10 teams joining us for 5 rounds of Proper Job’s Proper Quiz fun! 🙌

There were laughs 😂, groans 😩, cheers 🍻 and plenty of head-scratching moments 🤔 as teams battled it out for quiz glory! 🏆

The Wipe Out Round proved to be a particular favourite 💥, causing plenty of drama and a few cries of "Nooooo!" 😱 along the way!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and to the fantastic team at Polgoon for their warm welcome and hospitality ❤️

☀️🎶 It’s Friday… you know what that means… Proper Job’s Golden Oldies 🎶☀️

A beautiful Cornish day today took Michael and the Golden Oldies down to Morrab Gardens and Pengarth Hub in Penzance 🌴🎤

With the weather being so lovely there weren’t quite as many at the day centre today… probably all off enjoying the sunshine 😄☀️

Those who did come along had a lovely hour though, with the fans on full blast and plenty of familiar tunes filling the room 🎶😊

The lovely Gary and his team were as welcoming as always and helped make it another really enjoyable session ❤️👏

There was nearly disaster at the end mind… as Michael packed up, one of the speakers appeared to break 😱🔊
Luckily it turned out to be purely cosmetic and was soon sorted… crisis averted 😂👍

We always make sure the comfort and privacy of residents and attendees comes first, so photos and videos are only ever shared when permission has been given 📸🙂

☀️🎶 It’s Bank Holiday Weekend and Proper Job’s Golden Oldies has been out on a Saturday 🎶☀️

Today it was back to Praze-an-Beeble for a return visit to Little Trefewha 😊🎤

Not a massive home by any stretch, but a really enthusiastic group of residents – and even more joined in than last time ❤️🎵

Best of all, a lot of them remembered Michael from his previous visit, which is always a lovely feeling 😊

The staff were brilliant too, joining in between jobs and helping create such a warm, fun atmosphere 💃🕺✨

A really enjoyable afternoon all round and we’ll definitely be back again soon 👍🎶

We always make sure residents and staff are comfortable before sharing any photos or videos from sessions, so nothing gets posted unless permission has been given 📸🙂
