Thanks to Alan Dearling for these fantastic images from yesterday’s Mangorata Live at Sunday Easy + DJ Woz event. Thanks to everyone that came along and a massive thanks to the amazing staff and sound engineer (Kev) at The Trades Club. The band were incredible and Dj Woz played a perfectly paced finishing set. We’ll be back in spring with another jazzy Sunday Easy!!

2pm – 6pm – limited tickets on the door. Straight out of the legendary Leeds Conservatoire and into Jazz Clubs across the UK, Mangorata are driven from the back by fiery drummer Miles Pillinger and feature the young virtuoso trumpeter Olivia Cuttill, just 20 years old and already blowing people away with her incredibly mature soloing. With fellow horn player James Absalom by her side on tenor sax, they make a formidable brass section. All held together by pianist Liam Mason, percussionist JJ Petrie (Plantfood) and double bass from Chris Williams. Check out Olivia’s debut solo album Three’s A Crowd.
