Wadsworth Community Centre Wadsworth Community Centre is a venue hosting regular activities and events. We have two function rooms, a bar, kitchen facilities and a bowling green.

Hiring the centre is competitively priced and events are ongoing. Welcome!Wadsworth Community Centre is located in the heart of Old Town, a village situated above the attractive and well known town of Hebden Bridge. Old Town has fantastic views across the valley and at least one more hour of sun in the summer months as we are so high up the valley! The centre is not only a venue hosting regular ac

tivities, it is also a great choice for hiring out for private parties and events. We have a main large function room with great space for parties and funtions or for running activities. A smaller room with a pool table in the bar area can also be used at any time, and hired out with the larger function room if desired.The centre is also home to a bowling green which is a popular attraction. There is seating within the grounds, so if you are passing please do take a moment to enjoy the grounds that are so well tended to by our fabulous gardener. It is actually quite an idyllic spot and one which is not enjoyed enough!Kitchen facilities are also available which is always handy for private parties.Here are a few activities the centre is currently hosting. And that’s a wrap!

A massive thank you for your support this weekend from the organising team of the R**t Royal Jubilee.

We have worked hard over the last few months bringing together all of the events in the programme, but their success and your enthusiasm exceeded all our expectations!

We are keen to harness this energy and keep the momentum going. If you would like to be involved in future events, comment below and let’s get planning the next lot of fun on our hillside.

In the meantime, we have the Wadsworth Walking Market to look forward to next week. Who would want to live anywhere else eh?

Our R**t Royal Jubilee weekend wraps up today at Wainsgate Chapel with this photo exhibition from 11am and Old Town Scool choir singing at 2pm. A nice gentle end to a wonderful few days!

Awake early? Get yourself down to the Cricket Club for our Jubilant Jog this morning. There’s free cake in it for you!

Drum Machine workshops from 10.30am on Old Town park. Pecket Wellers, don’t miss the circus skills down on the playground at 11am and be sure not to miss our R**t Royal special guest who will open proceedings at 12.30 back on Old Town park. We can’t wait!
