This Volunteers’ Week, we’re celebrating our amazing volunteers 💜

Right now, 548 volunteers support us across our hospice, charity shops, in the community, and as trustees.

Last year, our volunteers gifted an incredible 52,750 hours - that’s more than six years of dedication, kindness, and commitment.

Huge congratulations to Hollie Shaw, one of the young people we support, who won the Young Community Champion Award at the Calderdale Community Spirit Awards last week.

This was in recognition of all the incredible work Hollie has done to advocate for Forget Me Not - she’s spoken at a number of events, including last year’s Colour Run, sent a message to local MPs and met with some of our ambassadors. All while living with epidermolysis bullosa, a rare genetic condition that makes her skin incredibly fragile and means every touch is extremely painful. Well done, Hollie!
