Happy nearly end to the heat wave.
It’s been a tough week here at the shop. We have been doing everything in our power to keep flowers fresh and happy. We have only been buying enough flowers in for the orders we have that day, with a few extra for shop customers. We have no less than 7 fans and a sad air-con unit running 24 hours a day and closing early to avoid the heat and stress to staff and stock. Unfortunately flowers will not thrive in this heat, we don’t expect them to last nearly as long as normal. It’s difficult to escape the fact that our houses are too hot to find a cool spot to make the flowers survive.
Next week should be a much easier week for us all. Have a lovely weekend and we will hopefully see you next week for a whole lot of new plants and flowers 🌺
