With the ever increasing costs to us all, it’s really hard to budget our finances and maybe cut back on those non essential items to balance the bills.
For the small business owners it’s not that simple. Our costs are going up weekly, or even daily in some cases and the choices we make are way more difficult.
We, as a result have been forced to take, not make decisions that are based upon our personal choices but rather a necessary action to enable us to continue to remain competitive, whilst maintaining the quality we strive towards.
Your local community, now more than ever, needs your support. Convenience is a great thing and we are all now perhaps guilty of using it too often, why is that?
Are we all just that busy nowadays, or is it that we’ve become lazy and have a mindset that getting it delivered makes us feel important, special or of a higher class? Simple fact is that to the big organisations we are all just a number, purely generating statistics and targets.
Local small businesses however, strive to offer the best possible service and produce at the best prices possible for them to survive.
We all take for granted our local community business, whether it be the family Dr’s surgery, local arable, dairy and livestock farmers, friendly greengrocer, jolly butcher, knowledgeable fishmonger, master baker, your friend running the local garage, lovely florist, your confidant hairdresser and favourite eateries.
To them you are not just a number, you’re a local and always welcome!
