We've had lots of people asking...
We're sad to say we won't be having a Furthest from the Sea festival in Derby in June. Despite our best efforts, the funding we rely on isn't there this year.

Keep your eyes on our pages - we're doing as much as we can, by ourselves and collaboratively, to bring creative experiences and opportunities to the city and towns around Amber Valley.

Like so many organisations we are feeling the effects of Arts Council England / Local Authority funding being stretched beyond what's good for everyone. If you're bothered by this too, why not sign up to this campaign:

🦈 Watch out for sharks in Derby! 150(ish) fine examples of this most awesome of sea creatures were released into the wild, thanks to all of you who joined in with our making sessions in Derby Market Hall this week.

📸 Did your shark make it home through the stormy seas??! We'd love to see a snap of any that have settled into new environments...
