Day 7, 8, & 9, my last few days at Rallye Du Maroc.
Sun sand and storms!
You would never believe it but it was actually cooler in my kitchen then outside, 33 degrees is about what it got to in the afternoon. The sand/dust got everywhere, as soon as you had wiped down a surface it had dust on it again.
On my last night we had a bit of a storm with dust getting blown around everywhere, I'm glad I had my earplugs in the tent at night!
Day 7 lunch, chicken breast, chips, carrots and beans, Cesar salad, tomatoes in herb oil and Cajun spiced fish pasta.
Day 7 dinner, beef in plum sauce, apricot couscous, turmeric cauliflower, mixed fruit and nut salad, beetroot and pineapple salad and spinach chicken pasta.
Day 8 lunch, mixed bean chilli, rice, beans and sweet corn, tomato and onion salad, carrot and sultana salad, and creamy tomato chicken pasta.
Day 8 dinner, Beef steak in gravy, hash potatoes, mint peas, egg and tomato salad, cauliflower rice, and paprika sausage pasta.
I left early the next morning but did leave them with a mixture of pastas and salads so they didn't go hungry! I had a long day traveling leaving at 4.30am, with 3 flights, the first flying business class (shame it was only for an hour!) to Casablanca, then on to Paris and then Manchester where I got a train back to York at about 11.30pm! What an amazing experience again, in an amazing place with amazing people.
