What a great success our first ever pop-up florist shop was at the lovely in Tenterden, this weekend.

I'm so grateful to all those who bought my blooms. You helped to support a small local business... and you have beautiful, long-lasting flowers to enjoy! 💜 win-win!

I'm really excited to be a member of the .sussexflowergrowercollective and as well as having direct connections to local growers and will now start using mostly locally-grown flowers and foliage in my bouquets and posies. Watch this space, as new exciting ventures are coming soon!

Spring weddings

Bridal bouquet paired with a ceremony pedestal arrangement in vibrant but romantic tones 🌿

Designed for a timeless spring wedding. Featuring Roses, Ranunculus, double Anemones, flouncy double Tulips, Eryngium, Stocks and Eucalyptus, in a combination of cream, hot pink, peach and lilacy dusky pink.

I love how the movement in this design keeps it feeling natural but still elegant.

Spring brides… are you thinking about your bouquet?

Seasonal flowers don’t just look beautiful, they also hold meaning and help create a bouquet that feels personal to you.

From romantic ranunculus to delicate anemones, the British Spring offers some of the most beautiful blooms for bridal flowers.

Here are three of my favourite blooms which are grown locally for brides who wish for a bouquet as sustainable and individual as possible.

*Anemone

My all-time favourite.
Gorgeous contrasting dark centres with blousey petals. They come is dozens of colours to suite any scheme.
Meaning: Anticipation and protection. How lovely... a little security blanket on a nerve-wracking day.

*Ranunculus

Soft and flouncy. Could be a nice alternative to roses.
Meaning: Radiant charm... who doesn't want too ooze radiance and charm on their wedding day!?

*Tulips

Such a versatile flower. Single, double or parrot... all have a unique beauty. They transform as time goes on and some varieties evolve to huge frothy blooms akin to peonies.
Meaning: Perfect love... oh come on now - how great is that!?

I'm delighted to announce that from Friday 13th March, I’ll have a beautiful selection of Mother’s Day posies and bouquets available at Roots Café at Bloomsburys, Biddenden - just in time for Mother's Day.

Posies starting from £16, alongside a range of larger bouquets to suit every gesture, whether a small token of appreciation or something a little more showstopping.

Roots Café, is a wonderful new addition to Bloomsburys, offering delicious coffee, cakes, breakfasts, brunches and lunches, with a strong focus on sustainability and locally-sourced produce. This Mother’s Day, join us for a relaxed and creative floristry workshop at Bloomsbury’s, Biddenden.

Whether you are a mother, celebrating a mother, honouring a mother figure, or simply treating yourself to a beautiful floral experience, you are very welcome. This workshop is open to all - come with a loved one, or come by yourself.

Hosted in the warm, calming surroundings of Bloomsburys, the space has been chosen for its inviting atmosphere and gentle elegance - the perfect setting to slow down and enjoy time with flowers.

During this 1.5-hour workshop, you’ll be guided through the creation of a luxury hand-tied bouquet. We’ll begin with a simple introduction to stem care, before you choose from an abundant selection of carefully curated seasonal blooms and foliages to create a truly bespoke, show-stopping bouquet.
You’ll learn how to hand-tie and beautifully wrap your flowers, and of course, your finished bouquet is yours to take home.

Freshly made, yummy cakes and refreshments will be available and all materials are provided.

Hello again 🤍

For anyone new here, I’m Katie, the hands behind Bloom & Moss, an artisan, wedding and event florist based in Sissinghurst, Kent.
I'm a mummy to two little girls and lately have focused on family life and enjoyed the chaos that raising a young family brings; but my love for flowers has never gone far.

I’m feeling really excited to step back into floristry this year, starting with some Mother’s Day workshops.
These will be Thoughtful, relaxed, and all about learning creative skills and creating something beautiful together, all in relaxing and comfortable surroundings. Details coming soon.

A little account of 2 wonderful, Christmas Wreath-making sessions. What a lovely bunch of ladies. Lots of laughs and festive creativity. Everybody took home a beautiful wreath to be proud of. Let's do it again next year!

I'm finally decorating my own home. I took the opportunity during a one-to-one workshop to make my own wreath out of leftovers. I'm pretty chuffed with it.
It's been a lovely little season of wreathing. Such a great few workshop sessions with friends old and new. I'm looking forward to planning some fun flowery treat workshops in the new year for the Spring.
