Saturday was such a nice day of events 😌 We made this rainbow of designs for Hawarden Estate at The Walled Garden School in Hawarden hosting an open day 😃

I also delivered bouquets and buttonholes to two lovely brides, who were so excited to see the flowers 💐 It has to be one of the best parts of the job!

Each had a completely different look and feel, which makes it even more fun. With thanks as always to Blodau Clwyd for lots of these seasonal stems! ❤️

We also had a few extras from North West Flower Grower Collective - I think this is such a good initiative. It allows us to preorder specific British flowers from multiple growers and collect them from one location, which is a huge game changer 🙌

So excited to be back at Cosentino UK City Manchester on Thursday for another event! 🌆

We loved working on this one back in June. The showroom is beautifully designed, with lots of opportunities to dress with flowers. We were so grateful for the creative freedom on the various different arrangements, including a bespoke media wall surround and a centrepiece for the incredible food. 😍

We were provided with a moodboard, including a burnt orange colour scheme and gorgeous imagery from events elsewhere. From these, we developed a new series of designs, with a blend of stems for maximum impact and texture (any chance to use Smokebush is always a win! 🔥)

Big thanks to Soothe Manchester for inviting us to collab on this one! Also to Ciara Bates and Stevie Ball, who were so welcoming on the day 🧡

A sneak peek 👀

It's been a little while since our last post, so it's time for an update! The projects are coming along nicely behind the scenes and our summer weddings were a treat to work on! 🌞👌

It's been tricky to juggle our day-to-day funerals and weddings at the same time, so it's taking a little longer than I thought to line everything up for reopening sorry, but I will update you soon! The infastructure we're creating alongside the shop helps to support its future 😊

One of our big focuses has been working with a global lifestyle retailer to launch autumn and winter collections of florals... 🍂❄️

Dried flowers require specific conditions, so we're keeping them separate from the fresh flowers at the shop and setting up a little workshop at home for them. For the moment, it's on the dining table (and inevitably all over the floor!)

We have some good news - we have a big project coming up...well, a few, actually! ✨️

In order to allow enough time to prepare for the next steps, we've taken the decision to close the shop from tomorrow until August.

Whilst we are closed, we'll still be taking bouquet preorders for Thursday afternoon collection or delivery each week. It's not a decision we have taken lightly, thank you for bearing with us ❤️

We have been offered some really exciting opportunities across a few ventures and it's a chance for us to take a moment and apply some of what we've learnt in the past three years. We'll also have a little refresh in the shop whilst we're at it!

As soon as I can share more details, I will let you know! In the meantime, I'll be posting some of the work that's been keeping us busy recently and five weddings we've got coming up in July too.

We'll still be working on our funeral contracts, weddings and events as usual, so please get in touch if you would like some advice on any of these.

Happy International Women's Day! 🌼

So proud to have worked with on these flowers for their team to celebrate IWD. They're a great example of female entrepreneurs not afraid to do things differently and take up space 🤘✌️

We included a few stems of Mimosa, which is traditionally given today as a symbol of strength and resilience.

Be our Valentine 💘

Our little shop is full to the brim with lots of lovely stems and bouquets made ready for today. We had such a good time prepping them all yesterday - honestly, it's so much fun playing cupid and creating bouquets when the flower stand is full. The spring stems have our hearts!

We're making posies, single stems and big romantic gestures for someone special, including yourself! 💕

We have a little availability for tomorrow over the phone and in the shop, if you're quick... X

Fresh plants for the weekend? 🌱 Here's a few of our favourites in stock at the moment.

Among them, we have some cute little blue Muscari starting to bloom, Oxalis in bark branch pots, and white Hippeastrum, if you're after a bit more impact.

There's a combination of indoor and outdoor varieties, but all of them can be enjoyed inside to bring in a bit of freshness. They're also available without the pots if you're refreshing your own planters at home 🪴
