Last Saturday instead of watching from a distance as our lovely couples get married at The Garden Barn I was delighted to see my son and his stunning bride get married here! The sun shone and a fantastic team of local suppliers made the day a terrific success. More photos to come when I’ve finished the tidying up but a big thank you to Paul at Whites Catering for all he and his great team did to keep everyone extremely well fed and watered. Tolly for his amazing flowers in the church and marquee and not forgetting the brides stunning bouquet and Toby and Rob from Hadley Marquees who as ever provided a fantastic marquee. Thanks also to Julia at The Little Wedding Shed for her help with the flowers in the barn. Together it was a team that would be hard to beat! Thank you all so much.

Chloe & Matt created a wonderful day for their friends and family to help celebrate their amazing wedding yesterday. Heidi Appleyard Floral Design supplied some stunning flowers and Jess from One Part Love Bakery produced a sheer work of art when it came to the cake. Little Piggy Catering provided the food throughout the day and Banquet Inn Mobile bar served drinks from their wonderful vintage van. All in all a totally unique and awesome wedding.

Happy New Year to all our wonderful couples who married at The Garden Barn in 2021. We are now really excited about the amazing days we are going to be able to share with our couples in 2022. Family and friends have never been so important so nothing will be nicer than seeing everyone get together again!!!🥂🍾💍

Hannah & Michael are our luckiest couple of the year so far. They had set their hearts on a outdoor ceremony at our lovely pavilion. All week the forecast had shown rain but they said they really wanted to wait as long as possible to see if they could get married outside. On Saturday morning in rained, lightly to start with then absolutely torrentially. At 2pm it stopped and the sun came out. Unbelievably everything dried up and by 3.30pm Hannah was being walked up to the Pavillon by her parents. From then on we had an amazing day, just what Hannah & Michael had dreamed of.

We were so lucky yet again last Saturday to be able to have a ceremony at our beautiful pavilion. Kimberley & Neil created the most perfect day. The barn looked amazing with lots of Kimberley’s own creations.

It was so lovely being able to have larger weddings again. So nice to see everyone having such a great day. Our amazing couple Charlie & Amy chose a great team to make their special day. Arabella Reeve Catering provided the food, The Little Wedding Shed did the flowers, Your Event Bar did the drinks, the marquee came from Hadley Marquees and everyone danced to Sound City.

We have had the most lovely wedding at The Garden Barn today. Julie & Dave invited their family and friends to share their special day. Luckily the rain kept away and everyone was able to enjoy the beautiful gardens and have a classic afternoon tea!

We are looking for an assistant gardener to join our team at The Garden Barn. If you like working outside doing jobs like mowing, hedge cutting, strimming as well as lots of other things then please get in contact. Teaching can be given but we are looking for someone who gets on well with others, takes instructions and is reliable. You need to be able to drive as all the work isn’t on one site.
