Onco Fonco

Her over there, well the two ‘hers over there’, Angharad Kellie and Daisy B along with Jon Kellie on guitar, Chris Senior on bass and Steve Prior on drums took to the stage at the Tabernacle, the crypt, the venue of choice.

From the first chord the first set launched Onco fonco’s second gig. Don’t get me wrong, with the pedigree of the musicians on stage expectations were high and delivered. The audience responded, especially during the second set, the aisles were dancing, the band rocked, the gig a success.

Influences abound, not withstanding the collaboration of Honey Fungus & Daisy B, this original material crafted in a tiny shed on a hill in Pembrokeshire is captivating, feels familiar and delivered with a warmth that has you fully engaged.

We will have to wait until after the ski season for the next gig, but given this, I’m sure there will be no shortage of opportunities to catch up with onco fonco.
