Meet Anna Atkinson 🧡

Anna has called Hastings home for fifteen years, working across local schools as an award-nominated teacher and arts therapist. She's the author of The Wonky Woman's Guide to Tarot and trained as a storyteller for social change, running creative, collaborative arts and wellbeing sessions with organisations including Hastings Contemporary, the De La Warr Pavilion and Hastings Museum.

For Pizza and Plays 2, Anna is working alongside Hastings Museum to explore local historical folklore — and how these old stories still echo through our contemporary emotional landscape in this richly storied coastal town.

Come and hear where her research takes her on the night!

Stade Hall is ready to party 🎉

Birthday? Family get-together? Celebration? Community bash?

With a generous sized hall right in the heart of Hastings Old Town, there's plenty of room to bring your people together. And because we believe community spaces should actually be accessible to the community, we’ve worked hard to keep our hire prices fair.

🎭🍕Over 50 audience members joined us for our first Pizza and Plays on Saturday 18th September.

"Congratulations on a fantastic night" one audience member proclaimed as they left.

"pure, emotional and full of heart"

"nostalgia, moving and really very funny"

And our favourite quote of the night;

"pizza was delicious, play was fabulous, a great night, thank you"

PIZZA AND PLAYS 2 is coming soon 🍕

Join Spun Glass Theatre for an exciting new writing event at our home venue, revamped as a performance space for the night. In partnership with Hastings Museum, Pizza and Plays brings together three brilliant writers, each dramatising a different piece of Hastings history and lore — performed live at the Stade.

Followed by Remi Vibesman of Hidden Beach playing us into the night 🎶

We're so excited to bring this creative event to our local community — grab a ticket and be part of an unmissable evening of new writing, history and Hastings spirit.
