Everflyt is a beautiful family run vineyard at the base of Ditchling Beacon. We will be in the sheltered tasting room overlooking the vines, full of cosy Christmas vibes! I am running two sessions, a morning and afternoon.

Last week marked the end of my summer season weddings and went out with a beautiful autumnal celebration for F&B
Lovely to go full autumn with British flowers, grasses and berries. Thank you for the most beautiful flowers

We maxed out the designs in the space with reusable arrangements like a low and low, pedestals and the trusty row of bus vases not to be underestimated! (This time in matching autumn amber glass). We added ribbons to chairs for extra but subtle impact.

A quick post just to say I’m super excited to have joined up with my friend Karen from Blossom and Bee Floristry this year to host a series of wreath workshops at one of my favourite places in Sussex Pitfield Barn.

It’s going to be so festive - we’ll be in the cosy warm barn, twinkling lights, homemade treats, festive tunes and everything you need provided to make a beautiful wreath for your door. We’ll have lots of choice and different interesting ingredients and TWO experienced florists to help you relax and create and enjoy the whole experience.

I am typically a total grinch until December 1st but even I am looking forward to these classes - the planning, choosing all the ingredients and of course spending time with you all creating 🫶

Book early to avoid disappointment- Karen is very popular and her classes sold out very quickly last year 😉

As of today autumn is officially here - time to get properly on board 🍂 it’s a favourite time for flowers for me with all the bright colours, textures, grasses and berries taking centre stage. Dahlias, cosmos and zinnias in abundance. This bridal bouquet was supported by bunches of dahlias for the bridesmaids 😍 (Scroll to see - simple but most effective!)

I spent this morning at the beautiful for their wedding showcase wedding. A beautiful peaceful venue, away from the Knepp walking routes and surrounded by nature and wildlife. The lakeside ceremony area is beautiful and they only take on a small number of weddings each year to preserve the ground and limit the impact weddings can have. 💚
I was a late add to the day so thank you to for getting me a gorgeous mixed bucket of local seasonal flowers.

September is a such beautiful month for British flowers, get married this month and use local seasonal flowers you won’t be disappointed! 😍

I often say late summer, early autumnis my favourite time of year for flowers and here’s why - all the colours, textures and shapes - a harvest if you like of all the hard work from the sun and the rain and the growers of course!

This was a wildflower bouquet for a relaxed bride so brief was loose natural anything goes. And that dahlia! 😍

A beautiful September wedding - starting with the decorations - abundant milk churns, window meadows and natural wild pedestals. All seasonal flowers and (almost) all locally grown in Sussex.

This was a big wedding for me (won’t pretend otherwise - it’s often just me and me working away!) and was a challenge to just use locally grown British flowers at this scale but thanks to my wonderful growers we pulled it off. I cannot thank these legends enough for going the extra mile always

And my team - so lucky to have these guys to help

A lovely local family - it was a joy to be part of the celebrations, looking forward to sharing more soon. If you are interested in enquiring for next year now is a good time as I’m mainly washing bud vases and cleaning candles for the foreseeable and will jump at the chance to stop for a bit 🥳

A pretty one from mid-July 💕 I forgot to post this … maybe as it was 6am and a 2 wedding day and I’m in PJs 😂 Priorities though and I am checking angles, floaty-ness and movement before delivering :)
