Just to let everyone know that the cafe is only open until 12pm today as we have 2 events on and are 2 members of staff down today.

Good afternoon all on this sunny day! Just a quick reminder that our new opening hours are as follows:

Monday 9-3pm
Tuesday CLOSED
Wednesday 9-3pm
Thursday 9-3pm
Friday 9-3pm
Saturday 9-3pm
Sunday - CLOSED

All hot food served until 2pm.

~We also now stock Ice creams and ice lollies.
~We have a new barista coffee machine ready to make a range of coffees and hot chocolate.
~ hot cooked specials available on Monday, Wednesday , Friday from 12pm ( first come first serve )
- fresh home baked cakes. This week we have in stock, Victoria sponge, coffee and walnut, chocolate brownie.

We had the absolute pleasure of catering for the Harwich and Dovercourt rugby club this evening. Genuinely one of the loveliest groups we have ever catered for! They know how to party 😅 First time we have done a carvery style set up and everything went exactly to plan,(apart from the gravey not thickening quite enough 🙈) Huge thankyou to the wonderful Dale at the park pavillion for hosting us again, and even bigger thankyou to all at the club who made our 14 hour day worth every minute! 👌

A progress update is over due!
We have FINALLY finished our kitchen and cafe indoor refurb! 🙌

Apologies to all our lovely customers who have put up with endless set backs, delays, and reduced opening times, we appreciate you all, and just wanted to give you a little insight into why it's all taken so long 🤭

We planned to reduce our opening times in January, (for what we thought would be a couple of weeks) in order to move our tiny kitchen to the other end of the cafe to increase our work space...

Jade then got snowed in in Prague for a week, and sadly lost her nan whilst being stuck there 😢
We then decided that whilst we where doing the kitchen, we may aswell completely redecorate the cafe space and update all the flooring 🙈 this caused massive delays due to issues with delivery but has made a huge difference!

A few weeks into the refurb we learnt that funding we where waiting on had fallen through, so we rolled up our sleeves and did as much of the work ourselves as we physically could, and used every penny we could muster to get the job done, inevitably delaying things even further!

We had several issues regarding electrics, plumbing, equipment etc as all big projects do, and right as we where starting to make realy good progress, I lost my brother 😔

We are now into our 3rd month of the project, and couldn't be any more relieved and excited for it to be complete 😴

We are so grateful for everyone's support and patience, we appreciate you all!

We now have a much more welcoming dining space, a kitchen so big we are completely lost, and a beautiful new coffee machine, meaning we can do real coffee! 😍

The outdoor seating area and what will be sensory garden and micro garden centre are still a work in progress, but we don't want to delay reopening fully any longer!

We are open this bank Holiday Thursday, Friday and Saturday 9am-3pm
CLOSED bank Holiday monday.

After that our new opening hours are as follows:
Monday -9am-3pm
Tuesday -closed
Weds -9am-3pm
Thursday -9am-3pm
Friday -9am-3pm
Sat -9am-3pm
Sunday -closed

We are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 9am-3pm over the bank Holiday weekend (new permanent opening hours starting next week- check our page for new hours )
