🏃‍♂️ 82 years young, 10K to run, 3 generations together and one fantastic cause! ❤️

I’d love to share the story of my good friend Dave, who’s a volunteer for Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice who I met during my fundraising journey a few years back!

Dave got back in touch recently and reminded me of my London Marathon days. At 82 years young, he tells me a marathon might be pushing it — but that certainly isn’t stopping him!

This month, Dave is taking on the Cheltenham 10K, running alongside three generations of his family — daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren.

And he has set himself a wonderfully ambitious target: to raise £10,000 for Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice — the equivalent of £1 for every metre he runs.

It’s a brilliant challenge for an incredibly worthwhile cause, and I’d love to help Dave get as much support as possible.

Dave will apparently be completing the challenge with his “well-oiled rusty legs” 🦵😂 — and I think that deserves our support!

A fantastic day at The Worcester Show! 🙌

We were delighted to provide 60 of our wooden 6-person picnic benches for this brilliant event, put on by Worcester City Council.

It was great to see our benches being put to good use, providing plenty of seating for visitors to sit back, enjoy the day and soak up the atmosphere.

A fantastic community event for neighbours in sunny Worcestershire and a pleasure to be part of it!
