⚡️Adam & Lindsey’s autumn wedding at Brookfield Barn was bursting with colour, laughter, and the most lovable guest of honour — their dog, Shirley Whirley Curly Girly 🐾
⚡️This day was everything a Sussex wedding should be — relaxed, fun, and full of personality. Brookfield Barn looked incredible dressed in rich autumn tones, with pops of turquoise and red bringing a bright, joyful twist to the rustic setting.
⚡️From getting ready to golden hour portraits by the lake, every moment felt easy and real — just how I love to capture it. And yes, Shirley absolutely stole the show (and the camera).

⚡️Beth & Taylor’s autumn wedding at Brookfield Barn was pure joy from start to finish 🍁
⚡️The colours, the laughter, the energy — everything about this day screamed fun. Brookfield Barn looked stunning in those golden tones, surrounded by crisp leaves and the softest afternoon light. It’s honestly one of my favourite times of year to shoot here.
From the morning prep and nervous excitement to the dance floor chaos later on, the whole day was packed with real, unposed moments — the kind of stuff that makes me love being a Sussex wedding photographer.
⚡️This Brookfield Barn wedding had such a relaxed vibe. Guests wrapped up in cosy blankets outside, cocktails flowing, and that classic autumn glow bouncing off the lake. Beth & Taylor couldn’t stop smiling — and neither could anyone else!
⚡️If you’re planning a barn wedding in Sussex, I can’t recommend this venue enough. It’s got everything — beautiful scenery, great staff, and the perfect mix of rustic and modern.

⚡️Adam & Amy made it official at Waltham Forest Town Hall today ahead of their big celebrations tomorrow 🎉
⚡️Afterwards we wandered through Brick Lane & Shoreditch, soaking up all the colour, street art and city vibes before heading to a cosy pub in Shoreditch for a proper London-style celebration. We had lots of fun chatting and geeking out, after finding out we are both retro gaming lover and just all out geeks.
⚡️An intimate day, full of love, laughs and the best pre-party warm up 👌 Can’t wait to capture round two tomorrow!

⚡️It’s been a wild and busy few weeks, but I couldn’t wait to share this one… Will & Sophie’s wedding at the amazing near Cheltenham last weekend. And wow… what a day!
⚡️This one had it all:
• Colour everywhere (seriously, the flowers were next-level).
• Non-stop fun and big laughs.
• A surprise downpour that turned into a full-on torrential shower… but honestly, it only made the day even more memorable.
⚡️Stone Barn was the perfect backdrop – rustic, cosy and filled with all the good vibes. Rain or shine, these two and their guests brought the energy all day long.
⚡️I can’t wait to share more from this one, because trust me, you’re going to love it.

⚡️Arthur + Georgia showed everyone how incredible a small wedding can be.
⚡️They tied the knot at the Red Lion in Herne Hill, surrounded by their closest people, good food, plenty of laughs, and the kind of atmosphere you just can’t beat.
⚡️No big fuss, no stress — just pure joy, love, and the best vibes all day long. Honestly, these intimate weddings hit different, and theirs was such a brilliant reminder that it’s all about celebrating with the people who matter most.

Simon Butler is an expert photographer with BA (Hons) and FdA Photography degrees, to go with years of photographic knowledge. He is fully qualified, insured and focuses on creating magical memories predominantly for weddings and portraits.

He has a life ambition of owning a VW Camper to travel around the UK in with a Leica M9 to document the journey, and to make this dream a reality, he spends his days taking gorgeous photos for you.
