Hello it is so lovely posting this gorgeous dish of locally sourced mackerel from Cornwall ! Being part of the galley gang on a two week course has been an absolute privilege learning from these international & energetic, highly skilled & super cool yacht chefs & private chefs! I’m looking forward to shortly reopening Fine Dining with Liz🥳

It’s been a very busy & satisfying time at Fine Dining with Liz.. a huge thank you to everyone who follows my page and gives me a boost! Private cheffing is always a pleasure cooking for repeat and new clients. I’ve been cheffing for over ten years now and have developed this business organically, using local produce and keeping my Yorkshire ethics simply as use the best you can source. You may not want a full blown party , so canapés work tremendously well especially if you haven’t got the space !

What a fantastic evening! I had the pleasure of cooking for a 50th birthday last night. The table & decorations were fantastic & the guests arrived in style & I had a great helper too. I was in the open plan kitchen preparing scallops, with cauliflower purée, black pudding stuffed apples, pea purée, apple sauce, pancetta, crumbled black pudding: pork encroûté with a mushroom & chestnut duxelles, baby carrots, green beans, roasted carrots, dauphinois followed by chocolate torte, tuiles, coulis, chantilly cream & berries. It was a juggling act with the oven. The photos were mid plating but I think you got the idea.
