Wuthering Heights 🤍

Open, windswept and a little unforgiving.

The early grey roses are for Catherine soft and romantic, but not delicate. The wild, foraged thistles and bracken feel more like Heathcliff untamed, reaching, slightly chaotic.

There’s movement through the arrangement, but it isn’t neat. Some stems lean, some fall away. I didn’t want it to feel “finished” in the traditional sense. It needed tension.

Wuthering Heights has always felt less like a love story and more like a story about longing so I tried to let the flowers speak that language instead of just making something pretty.

Would you call this romantic or wild?

With my consultation diary filling up, I thought it was time to reintroduce myself.

I’m Kirsty. I’ve been a florist for 20 years and founded River & Rose 12 years ago as a single mum, simply wanting to create a beautiful life for my children. What began as a leap of faith has grown into a business I’m endlessly proud of.

Naomi and Tim’s autumn wedding at The Sun Pavilion, Harrogate was filled with soft light, golden leaves and the most beautiful seasonal blooms.
Warm rust tones, creamy roses and delicate textures framed their ceremony perfectly. A celebration that felt as natural and romantic as the season itself.
