Julie D Catering Catering in Bilton, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Killinghall and surrounding areas.

Hot and cold buffets for birthdays, anniversaries, funeral teas, corporate events, weddings, christenings, baby showers, children's parties and private events. My first Saturday job working in a bakery shop in the 1980's, Friday night bake nights with my mum, catering for large gatherings at university, part-time jobs in restaurants and hotels and providing home made birthday cakes and classic children's parties for my son has led to a life time love of cooking and entertaining. Alongside teaching maths (yr7 - yr13), tutoring and examining, I was a volunteer for Harrogate Railway Athletic FC, providing post match food for the footballers. I also provided buffets for birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, sports dinners and suppers for quiz nights and race nights. I still continue to run Bilton Area Lunch club (1st and 3rd Wed of the month) and their monthly coffee mornings (1st Saturday of the month) as a volunteer.

29th Sept 2023 saw the launch of my new venture into full-time catering with an aim to providing a hot and cold buffet service for birthdays, anniversaries, funeral teas, corporate events, weddings, baby showers, christenings, children's birthday parties, sports celebrations and family gatherings at home in Bilton, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Killinghall and surrounding areas. This was definitely a special way to end the 2nd year of Julie D Catering's small business. The key to this special event was lots of preparation, discussion and organisation. 🌟

Thankyou to those of you who will have known me and provided encouragement to start my small catering business when providing food and fellowship was always voluntary alongside my love of maths teaching 🌟

More to say next week.

Thankyou x 😊

🌟 It was an honour to cater for the funeral service for Reverend Colin Lake at Gracious Street Methodist Church on Thurs 24th Sept '26 ⛪️

Collaborating with Gracious Street we had 2 drinks and buffet stations to accommodate mourners from far and wide. ✝️

Approx 300 people attended the service to pay tribute to a very special man who touched many people's heart ❤️ in many ways, through his lifelong service in ministry, spanning over 60 years.

He is at rest.
God bless 🙏
