It was definitely a family affair for the wedding of Katy and Ben in their beautiful garden. We had Bowie the golden retriever as ring bearer, speeches by Katys mum and their daughter, paper airplanes as confetti and a Tipi for the reception.

Let’s be honest, when you’re planning your wedding in your 40s your priorities are less about chasing a viral trend and more about making sure your grandma has a comfortable seat, your friends have full glasses and you have the time to have a proper conversation with every guest. My goal as your photographer isn't to drag you away from your own wedding for stiff, awkward poses. My job is to blend in like a friend, let you celebrate with the people you love most and document the pure, unfiltered magic happening all around you.

I had to get clearance from Leeds Bradford ATC because this property was on the flight path, planes landing so close you could see the people onboard. I had a 15 minute window to get my drone images
