Slowly catching the grid up with some of our flowery moments this year, in no particular order.

For Hattie and Will in the Fig House on the most tropical day of the year. Garden roses and Clematis doing wonders.

Table flowers for Malvika and Jake — a celebration of colour, flowers and joyfulness for the loveliest of couples. A last minute supply issue and recipe change (not to mention that pesky London heatwave) really tested my design skills but in the best way. I was so thrilled with how these turned out, like little individual works of art/jewellery for the tables almost. That’s booking yourself a floral designer who can handle the pressure 🙏 and sometimes the unforeseen gives way to special moments like this.

Finishing the set up and overhearing people wandering around deciding which was their favourite was just 🤌

Second round of my favourite film shots from 2024 — this time some black and white results. Particularly pleased with these as they were a lot more experimental and subsequently more risky. Some duds in the mix but overall loving these strange, ghostly images.

It’s been hard narrowing these down to post but the rest can at the very least find themselves shared to stories at some point, along with some of my favourites that aren’t flower related — some goodies from Ibiza in particular…

So excited — here’s the first round of my favourite film shots from 2024. One random arrangement plus some moments from Nayomi and John’s gorgeous May wedding in sunny Hampshire.

I’m still learning with film/getting to grips with my very old camera (and always will be) so it feels like such a success when rolls come back with winners. They may not be “technically” perfect or perhaps even good but they captured the moment for me and that’s all that matters. It’s also just fun to get these developed all at once at the end of the year and then be able to share these here and with our couples ♥️

Happy Monday! Almost at the end of January, and a busy time of admin, planning for the year ahead and anticipating all the designs to be made naturally makes me look back over 2024. For motivation, inspiration, ideas I may have forgotten etc etc etc. This always sticks out as of my favourite flowery moments of last year and ironically it’s one that had nothing to do with me, just something I came across and acknowledged.

Also a fun start to this week as I’ve finally got organised and had the film rolls from the past year developed — very much looking forward to sorting through those goodies (and inevitable failures) and sharing my favourites.

Back to work for 2025, which for January means calls, emails and catch ups with lovely couples and clients for the year ahead. It’s also been an alarmingly long time since I posted something that wasn’t a story. In all honesty I’ve become a bit disillusioned with Instagram over the last year, and am hoping that 2025 brings with it a bit of inspiration for that side of things. To start on a strong note, what better to share than this showstopper from August for Jade and David. British pears and cherries with ribbons galore — I’ll never forget shining up each and every one of those cherries before they graced the tables 🍒
