Wreath making has resumed! Yaaay! Had a lovely evening with my ‘Prosecco Mums’ It was a peacock kind of night - loving my new peacock ribbon. Ladies as ever - you did good!

I made some new friends with Harpenden Evening Floral Group tonight when they watched my YouTube "Colour Me Beautiful" demonstration.
So nice to chat flowers with like minded folk!
Miss being on the road but lovely to connect with people I would not normally get a chance to do so with... 🌸🌹💖

If you were lucky to receive flowers for Valentines, to help them remain fresh, every two days empty and rinse the vase, refill with fresh water and cut the stems at an angle. If you didn’t there’s some bargains around. Tonight my local coop was selling these for 78p ... yes 78p!!! As long as the heads aren’t drooping and when you feel the base of the bloom, it’s firm - they’ll last a good few days! Enjoy!!!

I sooo missed not having our wreath making Prosecco night - but loved providing wreath kits for my friends (ladies you did good!) and making table arrangements as gifts (and keeping one for me!) Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a safe and healthy New Year xx

As we all take time to relax over the sunny Easter weekend. Here’s some simple arrangements you can make yourself. Branches from your garden are perfect for hanging decorative eggs. Alternatively, place a slim vase of flowers inside a larger vase of Easter eggs! But don’t eat them all! Happy Easter and may you all stay safe and well ###

Happy Halloween! Hope this gives you inspiration for next year. Cut a hole in the lid to put the stems through and place floral foam in the base (although a jam jar would also work) add a battery operated tea light - simple but effective!

It was my greatest honour to make this for today’s private funeral for Terrance Dicks, a legend in the Dr Who world and my wonderful father in law. We all miss you Terrance. “The lights of Dr Who are dimmer tonight” ❤️

Belated Happy Valentines ❤️ !
If you were lucky enough to receive flowers yesterday, remember you need to look after them to help them last. After a few days, rinse out the vase and re-fill with clean cold water. Cut all the stems again at an angle (cut roses at a sharp angle) and enjoy their beauty for longer. After another few days repeat process Here’s a pic of mine!

The day job has taken over from doing 💐 these days, but when Christmas comes I love making wreaths for my friends. Here’s some I made earlier! Tonight the lovely Ellie came round and made her very own. She did a great job and can’t wait to see it on her door! X
