We’re proud to have been chosen to feature in some social content about the Great British Summer Savings scheme.
📣 A small crew is coming to shoot content on Friday morning, 7th August, for around an hour.📣
They are not intending to film customers or children. They can blur out anyone appearing by accident in the background, or will have the appropriate permission paperwork for consents.
We have also made them aware of our most important safety rules for being in a children’s play space, but we just wanted parents to be aware to keep an extra eye on their little ones.
Wild ‘n’ Wacky was selected as we are participating in the government summer VAT savings scheme.
This means we pass on the full VAT discount automatically on all our adult and child entrance tickets and kids meals this summer when you book. Our customers have been saving £££s off their visits this summer.
That said, we think children’s play should NOT be taxed at all.
Play is essential for children’s physical and mental health, socialising, learning and development. It should not be treated a luxury and we don’t believe it should be taxed like one.
When the summer is over, we will be forced to go back to including 20% VAT on all our prices unless there is a change in the rules.
And that’s why we’re lending our voice to the Association of Indoor Play in calling for 0% VAT on children’s play activities across the UK.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding —we hope you enjoy the savings this summer!
