I do think flowers are an important part of someone's final farewell. It's truly an honour to be asked to create a loved ones tribute.

I know during the grieving process it can be difficult, flowers speak when words are hard to convey. It's a celebration of their life, a message of love & friendship.

The beauty of a coffin spray, or whether it's a symbolic shape, wreath, heart or cross I will help guide you through creating professional meaningful tributes using seasonal flowers & foliages where possible ensuring every stem placed is just perfect.

Plants can also be used to add interest, from classic Rose tributes, to Spring tulips & bulbs, I take inspiration from nature. Your loved ones memories are important & can be incorporated in the designs favourite flower, colours or hobbies. It's the little details that mean so much.

Looking back it's been hard work, but once you have a plan & get stuck in it's so worth it!

Still ongoing, from taking down, tip runs to digging borders & building a greenhouse with a little help from the family. The wildlife pond came first, sowing & planting out & building up a container garden. There's still lots to do but I love every minute of it!

Can't wait to see the borders bloom 🌿🌸

Get outdoors its so good for the soul! ☀️🦋🐝

No garden, plant a container or two, hang a basket or put up a window box there's always a way! 🌿🌷

Slowly getting back to it after feeling poorly. I couldn't get myself out of bed, had an awful cough, aches & pains which took it right out of me. Sleep eventually & rest was so needed sometimes we just have to listen to our bodies & take a step back.

Feeling better & taking one day at a time I'm back to it ready to create beautiful arrangements..

And so ready to see the garden bloom!!

We've had freezing temps, cold days & nights, wind hail & rain to blue skies & warm sunshine!

Little Hellebores dancing in the breeze, Tulips coming through, pops of colour from the Primula ballerina, the dainty Saxifraga pink picotee. Greenhouse in the distance seedlings getting stronger, things are starting to wake up in the garden new growth, new beginnings, it's officially Spring tomorrow!!

It's lovely to have you here. I'm Karen a home based florist in Harlow.

I love to create beautiful arrangements, as we enter into Spring the little pops of colour appearing uplifting us.

From funeral arrangements to bouquets, seasonal arrangements & just because gifts who doesn't love a surprise!

I'm married to James & we have 2 children our Labrador keeps us on our toes too! I also work in Administration in a children's Nursery so life does get busy!

Not only juggling family, work & floristry I love getting out the garden, I'm in the process of re designing, sowing from seed, planting making a beautiful space to enjoy getting away from it all, it's so good for us!

So if your looking for a local florist for any occasion get in touch, I'd love to work with you. Working hard to reduce the use of plastics, recycling, using seasonal locally grown produce where possible.
