Hi!

It's about time I introduced myself! I'm Kaiya the face behind Black Veil Bridal.

I started Black Veil Bridal after my own journey to find an alternative wedding dress on a budget seemed impossible!

After visiting a few traditional bridal shops I quickly realised that alternative and black bridal gowns were mainly sold online which devastated me as I wanted to have that 'say yes to the dress' moment in my gown. I also didn't fully know what style I wanted so found it impossible to choose something without knowing!

After some digging online I found that there were only a few options for shops that specialise in black and alternative wedding dresses near me and they were out of my price range. I was open to the idea of buying a preloved gown but found it daunting knowing I may not be able to return it. I couldn't believe the lack of options for someone on a budget that didn't want a white dress!

So I started Black Veil Bridal!

My aim is to give non traditional and alternative brides the dress shopping experience in a welcoming, judgement free space. Going dress shopping is such a memorable moment so it should be exactly how you imagined it! Not everyone can justify spending thousands on a dress that they only get to wear once so Preloved dresses are a perfect solution.

A few facts about me:
πŸ–€ I am getting married in May next year.
πŸ–€ I have grown up in Halstead.
πŸ–€ I'm a petrol head with a love for old Japanese cars.
πŸ–€ I love all things gothic.
πŸ–€ I really enjoy being creative.
πŸ–€ I love music and often go to concerts (most recent being Muse and BMTH).
